Future Broncos Summer Baseball Camp is open to grades 4-9, and will provide campers the opportunity to work with Coach Eric Scott and members Montini Catholic Broncos varsity team and staff. Topics covered will include hitting, pitching, catching, defense, and base running in an instructional and fun-filled environment. Incoming freshmen are strongly encouraged to attend. The camp will take place on Bronco Baseball Field, and will be moved into the Fieldhouse if necessary due to weather.

In this weeklong camp, we'll be busy elves getting our Christmas work done early - making crafts for the ones we love! Students will end with a Christmas cookie decorating and gift wrapping party and leave with a few gifts to stash under their beds!

Coach Brechtel has coached numerous state qualifiers, individual all-state athletes and all-state relays.

Please join Head Coach Alex Zasso  and Montini's Girls' Cross Country Team for summer distance running.  We will meet on the Illinois Prairie Path in Villa Park (Gazebo at Ardmore and Park) with some Saturdays at Katherine Legge Park in Hinsdale.  This supervised camp will give young athletes a range in training from workouts, hills, and long runs on the trails of the prairie path and at the park.  We welcome all grade school girls as well as junior high students as we train at all ability levels.

Join us for our 20th Annual Dance Upon a Star Camp.  Each camper will receive their own set of Poms, a Camp t-shirt and complete a craft spirit project. On the final night of camp we will host the campers a pasta dinner and they will showcase their two routines at a Pep Rally for family and friends!  Each camper is invited back in the fall, at no extra cost, to perform with the Broncettes under the lights at a home Varsity Football Game.

Broncettes (Dance/Poms) -2023 is our 20th annual Summer Dance Camp - Dance Upon a Star. The camp is hosted by Head Coach Eugenia Scavone, Assistant Coach Carrie Pionke, Taylor Scavone and the Montini Broncettes.

Coach Scavone and the Broncettes hold 22 State Titles between IDTA and TDI prior to transitioning to the IHSA Competitive Dance in 2016. Each year the Broncettes qualify for State Finals and have podiumed twice in 2018 and 2019 with 3rd place for the IHSA Competitive Dance Division 1A. Broncettes also perform at half-time for home football and basketball games. The team members are involved in many clubs, activities and other sports. We enjoy working in the community and sharing our passion for dance.

Come join Head Coach Mike Bukovsky for the one day specialty camp for offensive and defensive linemen.  The Bronco staff has produced over 2 dozen Division I linemen earning scholarships to some of the top schools in the country. This intensive non-contact camp will focus on the basic skills needed to play on the offensive and defensive lines, including stance, movement, hand fighting pad level, and strikes.  All campers will receive a special Bronco "Big Man" T-Shirt.  Please bring cleats, athletic apparel, mouth piece, and water.

Golf enthusiasts will spend three days on the range, at the putting green and on the golf course. Coaches will cover proper golf etiquette, course management, ball striking swing mechanics, chipping/approach, and putting.

In this class/workshop we will take a look at the relationship between comics, stories, and literature. In addition to learning about the styles and techniques that go into crafting graphic novels, students will learn new skills and approaches when drawing and writing their own. We'll have lots of fun reading, sharing, and drawing avatars, storyboards, and panel comics. Students will finish the class loaded with new ideas and enthusiasm for their favorite story-telling method!

For students of any reading and drawing ability.

Materials: Students are encouraged to bring their favorite art supplies. Additional art supplies, as well as a reader and workbook, will be distributed.

Brain was a Lawless Award winner in 2018 for Boys Volleyball and currently teaches in Montini's Math Deptartment. Brian was the Boys Basketball Coach at Montini from 2008-2015. He has coached Baseball, Golf and Flag Football at the High School level. He has also taught in the PE Department at Montini. He also has experience as an instructor at the Bulls-Sox Acadamy in Lisle. Brian w as also a Recreation Leader in the Chicago Park District's Day Camp Program.

LEGO Robotics Camp – A hands-on STEM-based camp for students entering grades5-8. 

Have you ever wanted to create a robot and code it to carry out useful tasks? 

Would you like to have your robot compete against other robots? If your answer is, “Yes!”, then this camp is for YOU! 

In four sessions you will create several different robots and program them to complete various useful tasks. We will build and code using LEGO’s EV3 robotics kits. 

Previous Scratch or LEGO EV3 experience is recommended but not required.

Welcome!

Incoming freshman face a multitude of challenges, including a more rigorous mathematics curriculum.  Our records indicate that freshmen often benefit from our summer math program to enrich their skill set.  

Experience indicates that students who struggle with math generally drop at least one letter grade as they move to the next level. This often discourages students and causes a negative attitude toward math.  With the emphasis of math scores on ACT's SAT's, and college entrance exams, it is important your child develops good math skills.

This summer math program is designed to reinforce what they have been taught before high school and fill in the gaps that we have noticed from past incoming freshman classes. In addition, students will be introduced to Algebra I concepts they will encounter their freshman year. We urge you to consider this opportunity to bring your child's math skills up to speed to help them succeed their freshman year. 

This year the class will be held from June 12 - June 16 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon at Montini Catholic High School. The cost is $100 for the week.

Equipment:  Students must bring their own calculator, notebook, and pencils/pens.

Montini Speed and Agility Camp will focus on training proper running form and techniques to get the most out of an athlete’s ability. Not only will we focus on straight ahead speed, but also proper multi-direction agility techniques will be taught and drilled. Runners will notice a difference in their speed and form by the end of the camp. They will also have drills that they can practice on their own.

Video Game Coding Camp – A fun STEM-based camp for students entering grades 5-8.

In four sessions, you will code your own unique playable video games that can be shared with family and friends. 

Campers will learn the basics of programming using the Scratch system. Scratch is a visual programming language developed by researchers at M.I.T.’s Media Lab as an engaging way to teach coding skills to students of all ages.

Students need no prior programming experience to succeed and have fun coding with Scratch in this camp.

Youth Skills Wrestling Camp

For wrestlers of all ages and skill levels. Campers will be broken down by skill sets.

Beginners with limited or no wrestling experience will focus on an "intro to wrestling" with an emphasis on body control techniques, tumbling and the basics of the sport.

Intermediate & Advanced wrestlers will focus on continued development of skills and fundamentals with a deeper curriculum of techniques designed to help wrestlers be successful in competition.
